HARVEST HOME

Harvest Home, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization that is committed to raising up fiery believers who run hard after God, who do not love their lives even when faced with death.

We desire to be radical believers who love well and love the Truth.

Harvest Home, Inc was established in 1995 by Danny & Rhonda Calhoun.

Their goal has always been to bring healing, freedom

and truth to the hurting and broken.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a safe, loving, Christ-centered community where men, women and children can find and cultivate  an intimate, personal relationship with Yeshua (Jesus), Yahweh (God) and the Holy Spirit.

Our dedicated staff offers bible studies, accountability, mentorship, personal ministry, fellowship and healing through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Our Beliefs

We believe in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that Yeshua (Jesus) is the Son of the living God (Yahweh). We believe that Yeshua voluntarily gave up His life in order to offer us the free gift of eternal life.

We believe that our Creator is a  kind, saving, delivering, redeeming and good, good Father.

We believe in faith, hope and love and that the greatest of these is love!

Harvest Home Discipleship School

Due to Rhonda's battle with cancer, the school is on hold for this summer. We may have a school in the early fall of 2024.

The main purpose of the school is to help make ready a people for the return of Christ. Scripture is clear that we are to be ready. Luke 12:40 "You too, be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour that you do not expect."

This residential school is not for the faint of heart nor for those who are not serious about following in the steps of Yeshua (Jesus).  With the Holy Spirit's help, your time on Our Father's Farm will be challenging, inspiring, stretching, rewarding, compelling and life-changing. Our prayer is that, upon graduation, you will be more in love with Yahweh than you were the day you arrived.

In order to make it possible for anyone who desires to attend the school to do so, housing and utilities are offered on a donation basis. Students are responsible for your personal expenses, books and food.

Space is limited so request your application as soon as possible.

HARVEST HOME DISCIPLESHIP SCHOOL
GENERAL INFORMATION

Our Vision is to raise up a people who long or and are prepared for the return of Christ.

We believe we can best accomplish our vision by:
          1. By cultivating a safe, loving community
          2. By loving the truth enough to walk in the truth.
          3. By living the first and second commandments through the power of the Holy Spirit.
          4. By loving kindness, doing justice and walking humbly with Yahweh.

EXPECTATIONS:
If you give it your all, you can expect this to be one of the hardest things you have done, but in the end, we believe it will be one of the best experiences of your life.

The following bullet points describe what you can expect:
        Beautiful country surroundings
        Comfortable living conditions
        Friendly and caring staff
        New friends
        Times of fun and fellowship
In-depth, thought provoking and challenging bible studies
Spiritual and emotional growth and maturity
Hard work in Missouri heat (Community Service is in the mornings—so it won’t be so bad)
No pay, no entitlements and no excuses, but plenty of encouragement
You can expect to be lovingly challenged, as needed
        Limited phone and internet usage
        Accountability, grace and forgiveness

COMMUNITY
We are committed to cultivating and maintaining a culture of honor on Our Father's Farm. We do our best to be at peace with one another, keep short accounts, forgive quickly, honor each other and build each other up by speaking the truth in love. We are not perfect and don't expect you to be either. We do our best to follow Yeshua and love others the way He loves us. When we fall short, we are quick to repent and ask for forgiveness.

SERVICE
We make no distinction between living, working and learning together. Regardless of the activity, everything we do is an important part of being transformed into the image of Christ. Whether we are digging in the dirt or digging through the bible, we seek to do so with excellence and for His glory.  We believe having a servant heart is an integral part of being a disciple of Christ. Yeshua chose a dozen men to form a community that served, learned and worked together daily, which is the model we have embraced and seek to follow.

Each morning, staff and students will work on farm chores side by side, which provides the opportunity to build relationships and learn from each other. It is surprising what often happens when you feed the chickens or muck out a horse stall or pull weeds in our vegetable garden. (If you are unable to physically join us with certain chores, no worries. We will find something that you can do without hurting yourself).

BIBLE CLASSES     Proverbs 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to seek out a matter.

The following is a list of just a few of the classes offered:

Are you Ready For His Return? How do you know?
   and so much more.....

ELECTIVES:
We believe encountering Yahweh happens in many ways. We offer a few, which includes equine ministry (interaction with a horse on the ground), trail rides, various forms of art, synchronized dance, cooking, nature walks and quiet time.

EQUINE MINISTRY:
In ways we cannot explain, something wonderful happens when a human heart connects with a horse.  Through natural horsemanship principles and trail riding, people often encounter the Father's love in dynamic, restorative ways. It is beautiful to watch both old and young encounter the kind, heavenly Father through His majestic equine partners.

DANCE & ART:
The arts are often able to touch people in ways words can't. And they are just plain fun!

Synchronized dance is proven to help heal the brain while increasing your relational capacity. Plus, it is a lot of fun and produces so much joy!

Art often enable people to express buried feelings and hidden beliefs. This is a time to relax, unwind and simply be free to create to your heart desire.

COOKING:
For those who love to bake or cook, this elective is designed just for you.

NATURE WALKS & QUIET TIME:
For those who are introverted or just loves to be outside, this is a great way to pull away and rest. Some people find it easier to connect with Yahweh while enjoying nature. Take advantage of this scheduled time to take a walk, stroll through the beautiful King's Garden, sit by the pond with a good book...the options are endless.

A SAFE, NURTURING COMMUNITY
Our Father's Farm is a safe, nurturing community where people can process  the painful ups and downs of life and find the healing and restoration they desperately need.

Not only is the community a place of inner healing, it is also a community where discipleship and spiritual growth happens. Our ultimate goal is for you to personally know and experience Yahweh even more intimately than you do now.

Housing

As of 2023, we have 12 residential houses plus the Refuge and Shiloh building. These homes provide staff housing as well as homes for our students and farm residents.
