Our Father's Farm

In 1976, while on their honeymoon, Danny and Rhonda Calhoun were sitting on the side of a mountain in North Carolina when Rhonda asked Danny this question, "If money was not a problem and you could do anything you wanted, what would you do with your life?"

To her surprise and delight, he answered, "I'd buy a large piece of land and build homes for widows and orphans so that they could find healing and hope." Little did Danny know that this was something that Rhonda had dreamed of doing since childhood. Holding hands, they committed together to pray for the Lord to make a way for them to fulfill this dream. And so it is, thirty years later, Harvest Home is embarking on a project of grand proportions.

Your dreams are a gift from God, what you do with them is your gift to Him.

Our Father's Farm
A place where lost dreams are found and shattered lives are healed.

Our Father's Farm is a place of refuge and healing, a place where those who have never met the Father can do so and those who had wandered far from home can find their way back into His loving arms.

Our Father's Farm was birthed in the hearts of Danny and Rhonda Calhoun in 1976. Having grown up in extreme poverty, they both have tremendous compassion for those in need and a great desire to make a difference in their lives. And so they began their thirty year prayer journey asking the Father to help them purchase a farm where they could build homes for primarily women and children in crisis.

Our Father's Farm Vision

Our vision is to make a difference in the lives of men, women and children. We believe that transformation comes as a result knowing and accepting the healing power of Jesus Christ. Our goal is to love people into the kingdom.

We understand that there are many people who need long-term, intensive, loving care in order to overcome and break free from their past and step into the fullness of their destinies. Our Father's Farm will offer many the opportunity to do so.
